Who Are We?

We are a group of National Trust supporters who provide a range of activities to enable our members to meet socially, make new friends and get more out of supporting the National Trust.

Funds raised are used to support our local properties. To find out more visit our About Us page

What Do We Do?

We have regular meetings throughout the year, where we enjoy talks on a wide range of topics.

We organise a walk in most months of the year. In the summer we organise interesting coach and car visits, where you can enjoy the company of friendly people with similar interests.

Who Do We Support?

In our first fifty years we raised over £100,000 for local National Trust properties. Recently our efforts have been concentrated on the Shugborough Estate, where we have committed to be the sole sponsor of the second hand bookshop. Find out more

The bulk of our 50th anniversary donation in 2023 of £3,500 funded the purchase of a ‘Touch To See’ tactile book and map for visually impaired visitors to the mansion. This has now been delivered to Shugbooug. In 2024 we have donated £2,500 to Shugborough to pay for a new weather station and training in the craft of hedgelaying.

We’ve had a progress report on the hedge-laying training and the weather station from the Shugborough team that you can see on the About Us page
