National Trust Staffordshire Centre

Who Are We?
We are a group of National Trust supporters who provide a range of activities to enable our members to meet socially, make new friends and get more out of supporting the National Trust.
Funds raised are used to support our local properties. To find out more visit our About Us page
What Do We Do?
We have regular meetings throughout the year, where we enjoy talks on a wide range of topics.
We organise a walk in most months of the year. In the summer we organise interesting coach and car visits, where you can enjoy the company of friendly people with similar interests.
Who Do We Support?
In our first fifty years we raised over £100,000 for local National Trust properties. Recently our efforts have been concentrated on the Shugborough Estate, where we have committed to be the sole sponsor of the second hand bookshop. Find out more

Our 2025 Holiday – Yorkshire Wonders – had to be cancelled due to a lack of support but members were able to join another holiday to Cambridge s an alternative.

This year we are donating £6,000 to Shugborough to fund the conservation of part of the Shugborough art collection. These are 21 really important watercolour paintings. Mostly by Nicholas Thomas Dall and Moses Griffiths, with one by Edward Jones, they are a really significant part of the Shugborough collection. They depict the mansion, the landscape and the monuments, adding greatly to our knowledge of how Shugborough was originally designed.
