Learn about origami, its origins and practical applications…
Edward first started creating 3D geometric models at school, aged 10, and has over 20 years’ experience, folding origami. As a member of the British Origami Society, he has organised a number of UK conventions. He’s also a member of OrigamiUSA and Centro Diffusione Origami (the Italian Origami Society), and regularly delivers online sessions across the globe.
In this session, you’ll be given the opportunity to fold an attractive model, designed by the late, great, Shuzo Fujimoto – a Japanese origami creator whose main focus was geometric origami – from a single square of origami paper, and view examples of various geometric, modular, origami models.
Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before, Edward will guide you through the folding sequence, using simple, step-by-step instructions.
